7 ημερών ταξίδι απο την Σκίαθο

Day 1: Skiathos Marina - Agnontas, Skopelos 12 nm We sail out on Saturday afternoon and after a quick and refreshing swim at Arkos and a cocktail at the local bar we head for the small fishing harbor of Agnontas on the S coast of Skopelos. The bay is pretty and the fish restaurants on the beach worth visiting.

Day 2: Agnontas, Skopelos - Steni Vala, Alonnissos 13.5 nm First stop of the day is Stafilos beach on Skopelos and then we continue to the S of Peristera Island in Peristera Bay for a second swim. We end the day in Steni Vala on Alonnissos. The small harbor is a nice and quiet spot. You can taste the amazing lobster spaghetti and visit the Protection and Rescue Center of the Monk seal, situated in the same bay.

Day 3: Steni Vala, Alonnissos - Planitis Bay, Kyra Panagia Island 17 nm We stop for a swim at any one of the many beautiful bays on Alonnissos. Our destination for the day is the protected bay at the north of Kyra Panagia Island. It is a big bay with a narrow entrance and thus very protected. The whole island is in the heart of the marine park of the North Sporades so the visitors must be very careful with waste disposal.

Day 4: Planitis Bay, Kyra Panagia Island - Ayios Petros Bay, Kyra Panagia Isl. 9 nm The skipper today has two options depending on the weather and his mood. On a calm to moderate wind day one can sail to the North all the way to Psathoura and swim at one of the most beautiful beaches in the area: white sand, emerald waters and white flowers -also protected- on the beach (25 nm in total instead of 9 nm). Alternatively one can sail straight to the monastery bay on the east of Kyra Panagia. Anchor in the small cove and after securing the boat walk up the steep hill to the almost deserted monastery guarded by a sole inhabitant. The view from up there is breathtaking. We spend the night in Ayios Petros Bay, protected from the meltemi.

Day 5: Ayios Petros Bay, Kyra Panagia - Patitiri, Alonnissos 14.5 nm We sail south and we anchor for swimming at the magnificent bays to the north of Patitiri. We dock in Patitiri and we take the bus to Chora. The old capital on the hill is a picturesque village and is recognized as a world cultural heritage site by the UNESCO.

Day 6: Patitiri, Alonnissos - Skopelos Port 8 nm We head to Ormos Vassiliko, named so after being used as shelter by a Byzantine king (vassilias). We anchor there and we continue to the capital of Skopelos. The port is facing the North but it is very safe. The little town is traditional and the walk in the narrow streets will reward you.

Day 7: Skopelos Port - Skiathos Marina 25 nm We head for Skiathos sailing on the protected south coast of Skopelos and we stop for swimming on different locations: Limonari, Panormos, Tsougria.
